Call for papers for Volume 13 (2022) of the Czech Yearbook of Public & Private International Law (CYIL)
The Czech Yearbook of Public & Private International Law invites contributions to its volume 13 (2022). In 2022, the Yearbook welcomes in particular articles on the Law of armed conflicts, from the perspective of both jus ad bellum and jus in bello. This year, we will also commemorate two anniversaries that present the important landmarks in the development of International Environmental Law, namely the Stockholm Conference (1972) and the Rio Conference (1992). Therefore, the second thematic symposium will focus on various issues of this branch of international law.
Authors both from the Czech Republic and from other countries who wish to contribute to the thematic section(s) are invited to submit their abstracts by 30 April 2022 and full contributions by 31 May 2022.
The recommended length of articles is 10 to 15 pages (Times New Roman font, line-spacing 1.5). The articles have to contain a short abstract in English, for the Czech speaking authors, also a short abstract in Czech (max. 10 lines for each of them). Authors are encouraged to follow the style of the previous issues of the journal.
The Czech Yearbook of Public & Private International Law is a peer-reviewed English-language journal published by the Czech Society of International Law, acting in cooperation with the Czech Branch of the International Law Association.
The CYIL accepts articles and comments on Public International Law, Private International Law and European Law. In addition to the articles related to the topic of the volume, authors are also invited to submit contributions falling under one of the following rubrics of the CYIL:
